Tastes of Home app for iPhone and iPad

The app features family recipes and stories of Auckland University of Technology students from refugee/migrant backgrounds. Celebrating their voices, the Tastes of Home project captures the essence of welcome, family traditions and a new sense of community and identity for people who now call New Zealand their home.

This unique project was co-created by AUT’s inclusive student and staff community driven by a common desire and passion to increase the access to tertiary education for refugee background young people who resettled in New Zealand.

Alongside this app, we have a beautiful hard copy book which can be purchased online at AUT Shop (www.autshop.ac.nz/tates -of-home/). All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go towards a Tastes of Home Refugee Scholarship Fund to support refugee background students studying at AUT.
